The mount has a cylindrical 27mm diameter clamp that perfectly fits into the cylindrical clamp mounts found on most professional video cameras. Also, the SM5 has a two-way mounting system with 0.64 x 20 and 0.95 x 16 internal threads for two different types of mounting (Tripo and Boom Pole). Secure hold of your mic and maximum handling noise reduction will be provided by the four-way rubber suspension bands.
