Get warm optical tube compression heard on decades of classic records in one compact stompbox with the Teletronix LA-2A Studio Compressor Pedal from Universal Audio. Precisely matching the original hand-wired tube hardware, this pedal delivers all the inspiring tone and legendary feel of the original while remaining supremely easy to use.
The emulated tube preamp section lets you add weight and texture to any clean or dirty sound. The simple controls let you engage in parallel compression (Mix), change the release timings (Stock/Fast), change compression thresholds (Peak), and select between two compression ratios, 4:1 (Comp) for standard compression and 12:1 (Limit) for limiting. You can also choose between a buffered bypass for preserving tone over long cable runs and complex pedalboards, or choose true bypass for a pure analog to analog connection, untouched or colored by digital conversion.
