Sporting the beautiful cleans, aggressive breakup, and hot-rodded roar of the legendary late '60s 100W plexi heads, the Lion '68 Super Lead Amp from Universal Audio lets you take the vintage sound that helped define classic British rock bands like Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and more, anywhere. The Lion '68 amp in a box is loaded with three classic plexi amps: Super Lead, Super Bass, and Brown, as well as three award-winning speaker cab emulations, with a further three unlockable after product registration.
Selectable boost modes let you transform your tone with the turn of a knob. You can control a 3-band EQ and volume for each of the two channels, alter the room sound, adjust presence, and control the output volume. Stereo 1/4" I/O is perfect for feeding stereo FX into your amp pedal, using the 4-cable method for easy integration into external FX setups. With the free UAFX Control app and built-in Bluetooth 5 support, you can wirelessly control your pedal, conveniently download custom tones, and take advantage of unique features like the onboard noise gate and custom mod functions.

- GB30: Marshall 100 birch cabinet with Celestion 30W Greenbacks.

To capture classic plexi sounds, UA sought out prime specimens—a '68 Super Lead and '69 Super Bass—each bone stock with laydown transformers. For the Brown amp, UA used a Variac to bring the wall power down to 90 volts and rebiased the amp extra hot, giving you the authentic sound and feel of the most famous hot-rodded sound ever recorded.
